We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead the growth of our Critical Minerals portfolio in Australia. As a Senior Minerals Business Development Leader, you will be responsible for identifying and developing key client relationships within the critical minerals sector, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and expansion.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering and expanding existing client relationships, while cultivating new opportunities across the critical minerals market.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales growth targets within the critical minerals sector, prioritizing key geographies such as Australia, North America, Latin America, and Europe.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver value-added programs that meet the needs of clients and drive business growth.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction with our offerings.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, using this knowledge to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business operations, sustainability, or a related field.
- No less than 15 years of progressive experience in either a consulting environment or working substantially with the energy and/or infrastructure sectors, including experience in meeting the world's Low Carbon Economy Transition goals.
- Recognized technical expertise and an established reputation in the local marketplace.
- A proven track record of high-performance business delivery, team management, and commercial impact.
- Strong client service skills, with experience in account and portfolio account management.
- The ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
- Experience in developing market and client insights to support creation of new high-growth accounts.
