We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team at Smith & Co Recruitment. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting tenders for civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the estimating team in preparing and submitting tenders for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project estimates and tenders.
  • Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing packages.
  • Develop and maintain organized systems and records to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.
  • Review and analyze tender documents and conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil estimating with a strong background in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret tender documents and conditions.
