About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our Developmental Paediatrics team in Canberra. As a Community Paediatrician, you will play a key role in providing medical services for children and adolescents with developmental delays or disabilities, and behavioural or emotional disturbances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical services for children and adolescents with developmental delays or disabilities, and behavioural or emotional disturbances
  • Work collaboratively with Nursing, Medical, and Allied Health professionals to facilitate comprehensive care and interventions
  • Prepare medical reports and participate in clinical consultations, collaborative multi-disciplinary assessments, and team meetings
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Community Paediatric Registrars and participate in research programs
  • Take a leadership role in student teaching and education

Requirements

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or an equivalent high specialist qualification in your country of specialist training
