About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Climate Change and Sustainability services practice. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead carbon and decarbonisation advisory projects, develop business growth strategies, and build strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex GHG emissions baselining projects for scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, including identifying organisational boundaries, assessing data needs, and developing emissions inventories.
  • Develop decarbonisation and related targets based on leading international frameworks and standards, supported by associated data analysis and modelling.
  • Design and implement decarbonisation and Net Zero strategies for corporations and financial services organisations, from options identification and assessment to implementation plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on sustainability and greenhouse gas reporting and assurance engagements.
  • Engage with senior-level clients and develop meaningful relationships to aid in business development.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in carbon and decarbonisation, particularly for corporates and financial services organisations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of carbon accounting and decarbonisation technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol suite of standards, Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) standards, and other common carbon accounting frameworks and target setting requirements.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating with senior management and project managers.
  • Strong people skills, with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading, inspiring, and working with teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects in parallel, effectively planning and overseeing teams and providing technical guidance.
