About the Role

The Pega System Architect is responsible for building and maintaining Pega applications, focusing on technical implementation and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

Main duties include:

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of Pega applications according to specifications
  • Level 3 technical support of Pega built applications and implementing fixes
  • Modifying workflows, data models, and user interfaces
  • Designing and executing test cases to validate functionality
  • Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Documenting technical designs and implementation approaches
  • Collaborating with Business Architects to understand requirements
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to address technical issues

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • A deep understanding of Agile environments
  • Knowledge of case management and decision management
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • The ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Testing and debugging expertise
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate openly and effectively with staff, stakeholders, and clients at all levels and across boundaries
  • A bachelor's degree in Programming, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Background in software development or technical implementation
  • Experience working on multiple Pega projects or implementations
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in the government/public sector
