Key Responsibilities for a Mortgage Professional

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting loan strategy meetings with clients to explore refinancing or purchasing opportunities. They will educate clients on the value proposition and align their needs with suitable lenders.

Additionally, they will work with lenders or business development managers to ensure appropriate lending solutions are provided to customers. A key part of this role is managing a pipeline of customers from inquiry through to settlement.

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations to determine the best course of action.
  2. Develop and present customized lending strategies to meet clients' unique needs.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to establish new referral partnerships and grow existing ones.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a lending role, preferably as a mortgage broker or credit assessor.
  • Proven understanding of lending policy and loan structuring principles.
