About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a leadership position within our organisation. As an integral part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for overseeing operations, training and coordinating teams to deliver high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • To identify and select support workers who possess the necessary skills and qualifications to meet individual needs, goals and preferences.
  • To lead, train and coordinate teams in delivering exceptional support services in challenging environments.
  • To establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including community groups and health professionals to grow our presence and attract new service users.
  • To conduct regular visits to service user locations to oversee and support service delivery.
  • To act as a local ambassador for the organisation, promoting our values and presence through exceptional service delivery.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated career progression in management roles within the disability support sector.
  • Ability to design supports and services tailored to individual needs.
  • Strong leadership skills: Ability to lead, mentor and guide team members using a person-focused approach within a recovery-oriented framework.
  • Prior experience working with support networks, nominees and guardians to create holistic supports for individuals with disability.
  • Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Knowledge of NDIS legislation, practice standards and code of conduct.
  • Clearance checks: Positive Notice Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Open Driver's License with comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
