Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our legal support staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our lawyers and clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in probate files, estate planning documents, conveyancing and commercial leasing matters. You will be required to prepare and handle probate files with client instructions, draft estate planning documents, assist in conveyancing and commercial leasing matters, and maintain files and manage tasks independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and handle probate files with client instructions
  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and enduring guardianship appointments
  • Assist in conveyancing and commercial leasing matters, preparing contracts and leases
  • Maintain files and manage tasks independently
  • Liaise with clients and other firms, meeting deadlines

Requirements:

  • Experience with conveyancing transactions and PEXA
  • Familiarity with Smokeball and Microsoft Office software highly regarded
  • At least 3 years experience working as a legal secretary or paralegal
