About the Role

VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Southpaws Specialty Surgery – Malvern. As a Surgical Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our veterinary referral hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our veterinary team
  • Assist with surgical procedures and maintain a safe and clean operating environment
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary nursing practices

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or equivalent qualification in veterinary nursing or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency and/or surgery, with a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide clear communication to our veterinary team
