Job Opportunity: Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team as a Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for medical professionals who are passionate about women's health and wish to take the next step in their careers.

About the Role
  • As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will provide expert clinical services across both obstetrics and gynaecology, including:
  • Providing specialist O&G services across inpatient and outpatient settings;
  • Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team;
  • Supporting and mentoring registrars, junior doctors, and medical students;
  • Actively participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research initiatives;
  • Contributing to professional education and continuous development within the department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Specialist Services: Providing high-quality patient care and management of complex obstetric and gynaecological cases.
  • Clinical Leadership: Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Mentorship: Supporting and guiding junior medical staff in their professional development.
  • Quality Improvement: Participating in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in patient care.

Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRACOG) or equivalent qualification;
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia;
  • Demonstrated expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
