About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Administration Manager to join our team at Nowra Private Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the patient administration services, ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient admissions, discharges, and management of patient out-of-pocket costs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing patient records and data collection, collation, and management in line with site, state, and federal legislative requirements
  • Leading the reception, scheduling, and clerical teams
  • Developing and implementing effective administrative processes and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others to achieve results.

You will be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and a keen commercial acumen.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Front office management experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage individuals and work groups/rosters for a large team
  • Knowledge and ability to work to key performance indicators and budget constraints
  • Experience using Meditech or similar patient administration software
