About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Provide business partnering support on financial and FTE performance, enhancing financial, operational, and departmental outcomes.
  • Lead the budget cycle, ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with guidelines.
  • Participate in monthly performance review meetings, providing insightful variance analysis and identifying key opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular full-year forecasts, flagging potential financial risks and developing recommendations.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements and funding arrangements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and executives to review financial performance and inform business decisions.
  • Mentor and coach junior finance team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a similar Senior Finance Business Partner position, preferably in a large organisation.
  • Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • A strong ability to build effective relationships and communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business is highly desirable.
  • Professional registration (e.g., CPA, CA, CIMA, or ICA) is highly desirable.
