Job Summary
Your Nursing Agency is seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at the Cohuna District Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a residential aged care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure high standards of care
- Participate in professional development and education to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
- Ahpra registration
- Minimum of five years' post-graduate experience in residential aged care
- Strong leadership skills and experience as an In-Charge
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Full working rights in Australia
