Chef Manager Opportunity

Contemporary Catering is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and presented to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to set menus
  • Ensure meals are of high quality with excellent presentation
  • Communicate effectively with Site Managers and Facility staff
  • Supervise and direct Kitchen Staff
  • Maintain safe food handling and hygiene practices
  • Complete food safety documentation
  • Monitor feedback processes
  • Adhere to budgets, stocktake, and ordering procedures
  • Assist with kitchen staff schedules and filling shifts
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience in Aged Care preferred
  • Experience with Western Cooking
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook and ordering processes
