Digital Video Content Creator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Video Content Creator to join our team at Foxtel Group. As a key member of our video production team, you will be responsible for conceiving, crafting, and executing the delivery of high-quality video content for Fox Sports and News Corp Network Sport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce engaging video content for digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Collaborate with the video team to create exclusive, original, and high-quality content that supports Fox Sports' mantra as Australia's sports entertainment leader.
  • Source, film, and edit original content, both in-studio and on-location, with a social and editorial execution plan to support.
  • Report on YouTube-related analytics and apply keen eye for detail to identify key moments or trends in live sport.
  • Utilize Fox Sports' archive resources to create socially targeted content, keeping a finger on the pulse.

Requirements

  • Experience with non-linear video editing and production systems, such as Premiere Pro and AVID.
  • Strong voiceover delivery and script-writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of principles of journalism.
  • Experience with YouTube analytics and video upload processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian and international sports, particularly Cricket, Rugby League, and AFL.
  • Strong knowledge of After Effects editing and Adobe Photoshop experience.
  • An understanding of legal media concepts as governed by the Fair Dealings Copyright Act.
  • Content creator experience for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram management.
