We are seeking an experienced IT Professional to lead escalated technical support and contribute to infrastructure improvements in Brisbane, Queensland.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, project implementation, and support leadership across client environments.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Manage and resolve server, network, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Administer Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
- Implement and maintain security solutions including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management.
- Collaborate with project teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Mentor junior staff and ensure best practices are followed.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, switches, routers)
- Scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and leadership skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
