About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering HELP's Employment Services Strategy, focused on improving sustainable employment outcomes for people with disability.

The successful candidate will work closely with participants to develop tailored, individualised plans and foster a work-ready mindset. You will ensure each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the centre of focus, providing support, guidance, and direction to achieve individual and team KPIs in line with Inclusive Employment Australia Deed and Help Enterprises requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a caseload of participants to overcome and manage barriers by developing Action Plans based on strengths, goals, and support needs
  • Deliver coaching and support to participants in line with the Help Service Delivery Model
  • Build rapport and trust with participants to create sustainable job opportunities and career paths via relationships with local employers
  • Collaborate with Business Inclusion Specialists to engage with inclusive employers and identify tailored job opportunities
  • Work with participants to connect them with internal and external training, qualifications, and support services to address vocational and non-vocational needs

This role requires a range of skills and qualifications, including verification of working rights, Working with Children (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card), professional reference checks, and a national police check.
