About the Role
This exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team in the Department of Government Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of corporate services, including financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist financial advice to support business deliverables and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes;
- Lead elements of the CAM funding transition project and develop approaches to key financial functions within ACLS;
- Identify and implement system improvements and refine management reporting processes;
- Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate where required;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Broad financial technical knowledge and high-level accounting capability;
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate results to senior managers;
- Competent policy and advisory skills, with experience in policy writing and communication;
- Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Experience in managing projects and teams, including change management;
- A tertiary qualification in accounting and membership of a recognized professional accounting body;
- Significant experience working in an accounting role, preferably in a government department.
