Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Alliance Nursing. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as charting and data entry
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Currently undertaking studies towards a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing
- Completed Aged Care and Acute placement
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Influenza Vaccination
- Full Covid-19 Vaccination
- Available for a minimum of 3 shifts a week, Monday to Friday (am or pm)
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle (highly desired)
- Able to show initiative and work collaboratively in a team
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
