About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco in Blacktown. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will provide essential support to our sales team and take charge of project management to ensure successful delivery for our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Developing technical specifications for our sales team
  • Identifying cost-effective suppliers and solutions for our customers
  • Management of customer relationships ongoing throughout the project phases
  • Providing on-time and on-cost project delivery to our customers
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary engineering degree, or equivalent experience with Electromechanical projects preferably in compressed air, or a related field, and a working knowledge of industrial control systems
  • Good experience in evaluating technical and commercial specifications, preparation of tenders and quotations, and demonstrated success in project/contract management
  • High level of analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work
  • Intermediate PC skills with advanced Auto CAD, MS Project, and technical software programs
  • SAP knowledge and skills advantageous
  • Comfortable with reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, which shall include analyzing the terms and conditions, working with departure tables, and leading negotiations until final execution
