About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Email Security Specialist to manage and optimize our organization's email security infrastructure. This key role involves protecting against emerging email-based threats and collaborating with IT and security teams to develop robust email security protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, migrate, and maintain enterprise email security solutions, including Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop secure email protocols and protect against phishing attempts, malware, and other email-based threats.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in migrating and managing enterprise email security platforms, with expertise in Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (formerly ATP), including configuration, policy management, and threat investigation capabilities.

Technical Requirements:
  • Proven experience implementing and managing email security gateways.
  • Advanced knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience conducting security incident investigations and threat hunting.
  • Proficiency developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to email security.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Security certifications).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in email security engineering roles.
