About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity requiring a 76-hour workweek, with varied shifts across a rotating roster, Monday to Saturday. The role is based at the Coffs Harbour Donor Centre in NSW.

Key Responsibilities

As a Session Leader, you will provide operational oversight to ensure the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a supportive and safe experience to donors
  • Developing and coaching teams
  • Physically inserting and removing needles to collect donations
  • Providing clinical oversight to ensure phlebotomy success
  • Acting as the first point of contact for complex donor assessments
  • Up-holding our high safety and quality standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach and provide performance feedback
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build a connection with donors
  • A collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Digital and technical aptitude
  • Clinical experience is highly advantageous
