We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counsellor Child Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering high-level therapeutic counselling support and interventions to strengthen family relationships.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, delivering family therapy, individual, and group counselling sessions. They will also provide suitable referral pathways on an individual basis and support families in critical situations to strengthen these relationships.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • You hold relevant qualifications in Counselling Psychology or Social Work.
  • You have demonstrated experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • You are a member of a governing body such as PACFA, AASW, or ACA.
  • You possess demonstrated competence in using a broad range of evidence-based counselling and group work approaches.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including case note writing.
  • You have demonstrated cultural competency when working with Indigenous people.
