
Strategic Procurement Professional

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and the ability to develop and manage effective procurement plans.
Responsibilities include leading tendering processes, managing procurement documentation, and providing expert advice on procurement procedures and best practices.
This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
About the Opportunity- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives.
- Lead the procurement process from preparation through to administration, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Provide expert advice and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money and support business goals.
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
- Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week.
The salary range is $107,977 to $120,860 depending on skills and experience.
Performance-based increase available after meeting goals over a 12-month period.
