Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Site Management & Commissioning, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of an expanding project.
This position will involve commissioning projects from the planning phase through to handover. A strong foundation in electrical engineering, project management, and construction principles is essential, as well as experience in high power electrical systems. You will work closely with the project team during the planning phase and take technical responsibility for on-site execution and commissioning resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful commissioning of energy storage systems and renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols, achieving commercial operation according to market rules, local utility requirements, and contracts.
- Communicate commissioning plans and performance test procedures with clients, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning schedules, results, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in renewable energy, particularly energy storage systems, solar utility scale, power systems, transmission, communication networks, and related software.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technology and relevant codes and standards for ESS and inverters.
