Development and Alumni Relations Opportunity

The Development Support Officer will be a key member of the University's development team, responsible for cultivating and stewarding philanthropic relationships with donors to advance the student experience and research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the cultivation and stewardship of philanthropic relationships with donors
  • Manage a portfolio of donors and prospective donors, ensuring effective engagement and retention strategies are implemented
  • Contribute to planning, executing, and evaluating fundraising activities that align with the University's priorities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant experience in project coordination or administration within a complex organisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reports and correspondence for diverse audiences
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
