Job Description:

As a Technical Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering clear, accurate, and impactful written content that supports both internal and external stakeholders. Your work will ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with policies, while enabling effective engagement across multiple audiences.

Key responsibilities include editing, proofreading, and reviewing a wide range of technical and non-technical materials for diverse audiences, including internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit, proofread, and review a wide range of technical and non-technical materials
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with company vision, style, and tone
  • Oversee and manage document workflows
  • Provide subject matter guidance on communication best practices and standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in technical editing, writing, and content management within large, complex Defence programs or similar environments
  • Demonstrated previous experience with Defence Writing Standards
  • Strong command of grammar, syntax, style, and tone
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across internal and external groups
