Key Responsibilities:
• Provide design and assurance expertise across a diverse range of greenfield and brownfield mains design projects.
• Drive process and continuous improvement initiatives, particularly looking at design flows and processes to undertake them more effectively.
• Actively mentor and develop other members of the design team.
• Produce technical designs across multiple disciplines, leveraging advanced problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
• Develop solutions that achieve a balance between competing priorities, maintaining focus on cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
About You
As an ambitious design engineer, you thrive on being challenged and doing things differently. You have an electrical, structural, civil or mechanical engineering background and demonstrated line design experience, either in transmission or distribution (ideally including 132kv).
Your proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, Auto CAD and Neara is highly regarded. Effective engagement with your team and broader stakeholders across the organisation is essential.
