Job Title: Skilled Medical Practitioner

The role of a skilled medical practitioner is a highly rewarding position that requires delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.

As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to residents, including assessing their health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.

This challenging yet fulfilling role requires a strong background in clinical care, with a focus on wound management, health care planning, assessment, and documentation.

  • Clinical Care: Providing high-quality medical care to residents, including conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Wound Management: Managing and dressing wounds, preventing infections, and promoting proper wound healing.
  • Health Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing pain management strategies.

Successful candidates will possess current AHPRA registration, knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, and be adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.

The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
