Early Childhood Education Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Educator to join our kindergarten in the Dolphin Group, commencing in January 2026. Our kindergarten is a community-based organisation that has been operating for over 60 years.

Our service consists of two groups of children attending during Queensland school terms from 8:45am to 3pm. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, inclusive, inspiring and nurturing environment that supports children in building confidence, identity, and a strong sense of belonging.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and experience working with children aged 3-5 years. They will also possess current First Aid/CPR qualifications, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

The role offers attractive wages as per our Kindergarten Enterprise Agreement, 4 weeks annual leave and 7 weeks Recess Leave, and ongoing paid professional development. You will be part of a small, supportive teaching team and collaborative work environment.

Position Details:

  • Role: Educator (Dolphin Group)
  • Location: Burleigh Heads, QLD
  • Hours: 40 hours per fortnight
  • Employment Type: Part-time, 12-month contract

Applicant Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children aged 3-5 years
  • Current First Aid/CPR qualifications, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
