Austal is seeking a skilled professional to manage and coordinate Configuration Management (CM) activities in accordance with established CM plans. The role supports the CM Lead in day-to-day project activities, ensuring the timely delivery of project objectives.

The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination and completion of CM activities, ensuring accurate capture of configuration information within Teamcenter Unified. Regular reporting of CM status is also expected.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of project CM activities.
  • Ensure accurate capture of configuration information/changes within Teamcenter Unified.
  • Regularly report CM status.
  • Act on behalf of the CM Lead in their absence.
  • Coordinate and conduct Configuration Audit and reporting activities.
Requirements
  • Essential
    • Health and Safety Construction White Card
    • Certificate IV or higher level in a technical discipline
  • Desirable
    • Relevant maritime degree or trade qualification preferred
    • Effective communication skills; competency in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software
