About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults, in a supportive and collaborative setting. As a senior therapist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based therapy and assessments using age-appropriate techniques tailored to individual needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing quality psychological care and have a track record of utilising evidence-based intervention strategies. You will also be competent in working independently, with excellent time management, administrative, and report writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality therapy and assessment services to clients across various age ranges and presentations
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals and service providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in peer supervision and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist
- Medicare provider number or eligibility to apply
- Ability to work with NDIS participants and clients under Medicare funding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
