Overview of the Position

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Gin Manager.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring safe work practices and monitoring environmental conditions at our Cecil Plains Cotton Gin.

This position offers autonomy to:

  • Manage the Gin to achieve maintenance and production schedules
  • Lead and develop your team and site culture

Candidates must have proven experience in cotton ginning, preferably as Gin Manager or senior operator, and be willing to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Cotton Gin.

  • Proven technical skills (mechanical & electrical)
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to safety
  • A strong 'process' mindset to drive plant maintenance and production activity
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Energy and drive to persevere through long seasons
  • Reasonable business and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
