They will also be required to develop the technical skills of junior staff and contribute to the preparation of fee budgets, proposals, and resource requirements for projects under their control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical design and delivery of multiple concurrent projects

  • Co-ordination with other engineers in regional offices and technical groups
  • Management of calculations, drawings, and other documents

  • Identification and management of risks for projects under control
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of DMRB/MCHW and detailed design experience on road schemes above 5 M construction value
  • Detailed technical skills across key elements of highways design
  • Liaison with direct stakeholders
  • CEng + MICE and/or MIHT or experienced near-chartered engineer with 10-15 years of experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Auto CAD, and other relevant software skills
