Job Description:

Clinical Nurse Educators are key to delivering high-quality patient care and education. As a Clinical Nurse Educator in our Operating Suite, you will lead, inspire, and support the continuous development of Nursing staff.

This role requires you to facilitate orientation and training, provide clinical leadership and mentoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of learning and excellence.

You will work closely with the Nurse Manager to identify learning needs and develop tailored education programs that meet the needs of our staff.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver education programs to meet the needs of our staff
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to Nursing staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of learning and excellence
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with AHPRA
  • Relevant clinical/education post-registration qualification
  • Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
  • Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate education
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
