We are a reputable early childhood service catering for 40 children located in West Chatswood on Sydney's North Shore. Our centre is committed to providing a rich education and care that focuses on individual children in a family-oriented and supportive way.

Our childcare program offers a range of activities including gardening, arts and crafts, music and movement, physical play, block building, sand and water play, science experiments, early numeracy activities such as counting and measurement, and early literacy activities such as reading, drawing and writing.

The Role

This permanent, part-time position involves working 9:45am-3:30pm every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The successful candidate will be pivotal in covering breaks and programming times, and will also have the opportunity to join our casual pool to work on non-contract days if desired.

Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
  • Completed training in Child Protection
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
