This role involves providing high-quality specialist psychiatric care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced mental health specialist to join our Continuing Care Team, working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare providers and community services to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Australian Medical Council (AMC) accreditation as a Specialist in Psychiatry or equivalent registration.
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Medical Practitioner.
- Proven experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a hospital environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
