Nurse Practitioner Role

Mater Hospital Brisbane's Perioperative Unit is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to work in the theatres.
This is a permanent full-time role that requires working across a 7-day rotating roster. Our team specialises in various surgical procedures and provides exceptional patient care.
- Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management
- Implement strategies for quality and risk management in service provision
- Work collaboratively with the perioperative team to deliver exceptional care every time
- Maintain current knowledge and skills for continued professional growth
About You:

- At least 3 years' recent scrub/scout experience
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a registered nurse (no restrictions)
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to model high-quality patient care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to operate effectively in a team environment and autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
