Job Title: Freight Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Freight Associate to join our team in Echuca. As a key member of our Trade Counter team, you will play a vital role in helping plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver parts and products to customers using a company vehicle
  • Undertake pick packing and stock control activities
  • Maintain a tidy and safe branch and warehouse
  • Provide customer service and information about products

A typical day involves:

  1. Driving a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to customers
  2. Pick packing and stock control activities to ensure efficient inventory management
  3. Maintaining a clean and organized branch and warehouse environment
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You must be open to working various shifts, including weekends, and be willing to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
