About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Active Directory Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Australia. As an AD/SOE Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Active Directory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Active Directory environments, including multi-forest domain trusts, GPO policies, logging, and Role-Based Access Control.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, implementation plans, and system hardening strategies.
  • Creation of workstation images, image management, and patching strategies.
  • Implement a common authentication scheme across the environment.
  • Work as part of a small team, balancing competing work requirements and developing the product while maintaining design documentation and engaging with other product teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing and implementing Active Directory environments, including multi-forest domain trusts, GPO policies, logging, and Role-Based Access Control.
  • Experience with application deployment and whitelisting, SOE image creation, deployment, and hardening, Windows Updates, and Patch Management.
  • Integration of applications and devices with AD-based authentication, including LDAP, Kerberos, NPS, and creation and deployment of internal Certificate Authority.
  • Microsoft Certification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience in a Defence-related industry is desirable.
  • Experience designing and building IT environments in compliance with the Information Security Manual (ISM) is highly desirable.
