Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Townsville. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex power generation systems, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex power generation systems, including generators and components, at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented schedules and standards.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Electrical Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification
  • Locally valid driving permit
  • Valid QLD Electrical Licence with no restrictions
Working Conditions:

This role will be based in Townsville, with occasional travel within the Region to support customer needs. After-hours support will be required and will be incorporated into the branch roster.
