The Role of SMP Estimator

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our Engineering Construction Division. As an SMP Estimator, you will be based in our Milton office and responsible for the successful bid and estimating work for projects throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope the work and manage the full estimate
  • Assist in the planning of project delivery
  • Interface with Civil and E&I aspects of each estimate
  • Provide inputs to Risk and Opportunity reviews
  • Contribute to management reviews and present estimates to senior management
  • Prepare detailed Basis of Estimate documents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience of design/engineering construction estimating
  • Formal SMP trade or engineering background in a construction environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and advanced computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior experience with InEight software is highly attractive
