About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Philanthropy Officer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in supporting our fundraising activities and donor relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Donor Engagement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major donors and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new donor opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Development to develop and implement donor engagement strategies
• Event Planning and Execution
  • Support the planning and execution of donor and patron events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop event concepts and logistics
• Communications and Reporting
  • Develop and disseminate communications to donors and stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit reports on donor engagement and fundraising activities

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in fundraising, donor engagement, and communications. The ideal candidate will have:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as arts, business, administration, communications, or events
• Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and a valid Driver's License.
