Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson to join our client's production team in Leongatha, VIC 3953.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of milk production, including milking shed routines and reproductive programs.
  • Implement calving procedures and manage pastures and crops for livestock production.
  • Supervise animal health programs and maintain an optimal environment for the wellbeing of livestock.
  • Operate milking plant and equipment, and perform maintenance works on sheds, fixtures and fittings.
  • Transport stock, feed and equipment, and maintain records for stock and inventory control.

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III in Agriculture / Dairy Production (or higher equivalent)
  • Three (3) years of recent and relevant work experience
