We are seeking skilled Process Plant Operators to join our team across our operations in the South West. This includes the Pigment Plant in Australind and the Chlorine Plant in Kemerton.
Please note that this is a residential role, and you must live within a 45-minute commute to site.
Requirements- Must be technically minded.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must be fit to perform physical work outside and comfortable to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Must be able and willing to work rotating shifts.
- Must be comfortable working in a hazardous environment. Wearing task-appropriate PPE, clean shave policy applies for breathing apparatus if required.
- Monitor and control plant processes and equipment to maintain optimal plant performance.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain process equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and respond to safety incidents or emergencies.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and planners to prioritise production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, process parameters, and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot process issues, equipment malfunctions, and production bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and improvements.
