The Role

Job Title: Truck Driver

Location: Port of Brisbane, Queensland

Status: Casual - Dayshift available

Duties
  • Complete all necessary documentation associated with vehicle operations
  • Take good care of vehicles and plant under your care
  • E nsure compliance with safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guidelines, loading requirements, axle weights, and adhering to vehicle-specific permits
  • Operate handheld PDA units, tablet devices, and any other systems as required and provided
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Multi-Combination (MC) or HC Drivers License
  • Have knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Heavy Vehicle legislation, and permitting standards
  • Be able to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment
