Bis, a leading provider of underground coal mining industry equipment and services, is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanical Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanical Technician to work in our underground mining equipment maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy mechanical trade qualification, with previous experience repairing heavy equipment in the mining, civil or gas industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a strong commitment to safety in the workplace, and good work ethics, communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy machinery in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Bis standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire checks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals and deadlines.
