This is a 1-year maximum term position with possible extension. As a Digital Architect, you will be responsible for driving and defining the strategic vision for RAC's digital platform, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to understand their requirements, and effectively communicating the platform's capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Vision and Direction
- Drive and define the strategic vision for RAC's digital platform.
- Support the Architecture function in shaping the digital platform's direction.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with diverse business and technical stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Communicate the platform's capabilities effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Alignment
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Partner with domain architects and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives.
- Technology Evaluation and Adoption
- Identify and evaluate potential technology solutions.
- Advocate for the adoption of technology solutions as part of our composable digital platform.
- Architecture Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.
- Develop blueprints, roadmaps, and guidelines for the digital platform.
- Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies
- Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Inform and guide the long-term digital technology strategy.
- Architectural Governance
- Contribute to the design and enforcement of architectural governance.
- Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations related to security and privacy.
- Experience
- Extensive experience in IT with a focus on architecture.
- Proven track record in developing and guiding digital strategies.
- Experience managing and modeling various system/application types.
- Technical Skills
- Experience with Azure or other hybrid cloud environments.
- Technical proficiency in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and MACH architecture principles.
- Certifications
- Certification in frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Experience in leading teams and projects.
- Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
