About the Role

Gartner is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Sydney. This role is perfect for a highly motivated and organized individual who wants to start their career in sales.

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled Sales Development Representative to conduct lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential new clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research on companies, C-level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to create detailed strategic communication plans.
  2. Proactively schedule calls with prospective clients via phone and email.
  3. Educate prospective clients on the value of Gartner's renowned products and services.
  4. Partner with Business Development Managers to create customized plans for sales territories.

Requirements:

  • In the final year of graduation (graduating in 2024)
  • Relevant work or internship experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service
  • Ability to establish credibility and communicate with senior-level executives
  • Excellent communication, writing & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize daily tasks/responsibilities in an effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
  • Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to solve problems
