Job Overview:

The Test and Evaluation (T&E) Practitioner plays a pivotal role in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team in shaping the country's security landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and maintain Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and T&E related artifacts, engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Conduct test and evaluation, certification, and systems assurance within the One Defence Capability System (ODCS).
  • Preview Test and Evaluation (PT&E), Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and In-Service Test & Evaluation (In-Service T&E).
  • Plan, manage, and report on T&E activities, providing technical and professional advice, and undertaking system T&E or trial tasks and drafting T&E Reports.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant and recent T&E experience within the Defence industry.
  • Good understanding of Defence T&E Systems Engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
  • Previous and current experience and thorough understanding of T&E policies.
  • Current/active T&E accreditation (preferred).
